CITY OF DEPARTURE - SCOTLAND

You land in Aberdeen in the North-East of Scotland, and proceed to your five-star hotel: a luxurious and intimate mansion in a wooded park, on the banks of the river Dee. You spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing and discovering the castle’s park. You have dinner in a restaurant of your choice: the hotel’s restaurant serves high quality cuisine, and Aberdeen is just 15 minutes away. Option: you have dinner in a restaurant that revisits Scotland’s culinary tradition, with an earthy cuisine made from fresh products. You spend the night in your five-star hotel.

LUXURY WHISKY TOUR

After the breakfast, you have a day to discover the whiskies that have made the reputation of this area of Scotland. In the late morning, your private guide takes you on a tour of an traditional distillery, where you sample a selection of single malt whiskies. Option: you have lunch in a typical Scottish inn, where over a hundred different whiskies are displayed. Your guide takes you to a local cooperage that produces the oak barrels used for the ageing of the whisky. You then visit a second distillery which produces a world-famous single malt whisky. LUXURY CASTLE TOUR

The witnesses of a rich history, Scotland’s castles are still alive with the mystery of the ancient clans’ legends. In the morning you go on a tour of several castles, where you may also have lunch. In the afternoon, you wander in the gardens steeped in history of a ruined medieval castle, and soak up the magical atmosphere of other castles in the area. You have dinner in a restaurant of your choice, and spend the night in your hotel.
